After my short stay in Davenport and two days in Des Moines I am on my way back to Napa Valley. I want to thank you and your team once again for hosting our Trinchero Wine Dinner last Tuesday evening. It was one of the best wine pairing dinners I have had the opportunity to host. Chef James did an extraordinary job in pairing our Trinchero Reserve wines with each course. When I saw our Trinchero Chicken Ranch Cabernet Sauvignon paired with a Frisee Green Salad I had some doubts if it was going to work. It was perfect !! Great job and Kudos to Chef James ! It was a pleasure meeting you Marc as well as Mike C. and the rest of your wonderful staff.

We want to compliment your staff for another great evening at Crow Valley last night. Everyone is always so helpful getting my mother settled in and comfortable, and we sincerely appreciate the special attention. As usual, the food and beverage were great, as was the service. The staff is well trained, attentive and upbeat. The menu specials are always creative and delicious. Crow Valley has done a terrific job and it's well worth the hours drive to enjoy the dining.

We are very fortunate to be afforded the opportunity to play such a great course. Your PGA Professional, Mike Scott, and his staff, did a wonderful job, as did your superintendent in preparing the course each day.
Our dinner on Monday night was delicious, and the cake for dessert was to die for.

I came home to Iowa having run high end private country clubs in Chicago for many years. The memberships that I have worked with in Chicago were very supportive of Amateur and Professional golf. Even if it meant they had to give up their golf course for a couple of days. I know it is a tough choice when our summers seem to be so short.
I want you all to know that it was truly a treat to be home and see the Crow Valley members and staff support the Iowa PGA Professionals and treat us all to one of the finest country clubs in the Midwest. You should be very proud of your facility and staff for putting together a great event.
